Those are fantastic, Penel. I love the collars.
I am in a really unique place. I can be at the beach in 45min to an hour, a major airport in 30minutes and San Francisco in 45 minutes. It takes me 30 minutes to get my son to school and another 15 minutes for me to get to work. The land I live on is about 5,000 acres and it can take me 45 minutes to an hour to get from one side to the other, but that includes getting all the gates.
I don't mind the time it takes as long as I'm not sitting in traffic and luckily my daily commute is opposite of traffic.
When we travel (very rarely) my husband likes to go out of state and that's usually a day or two of driving. I don't mind driving at all.

Here's a dog picture, but it doesn't compare to yours.

Merdock, he is one big lover boy. :D

This is a picture of the ranch we live on. I did a very rough outline of our boundary.
My husband could outline the ranch exactly, but he's not here so this give you a pretty good idea.

You do indeed live in an amazing location!

Thanks, Penel. I think Merdock is quite handsome as well. :D
We spend a lot of time out on the ranch, it's what keeps us sane.

I know just where you are Stina; we have driven by many times. Your spot looks quite similar to my spot in this state :)
Speaking if this state, we are heading to Monterey this weekend to go watch the Orca in the bay; I booked an all day trip on the water for Sunday. Unfortunately it won't be as balmy as Maui..... I will wear a sweatshirt & bring a jacket :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I am enjoying it while I can, Joayne. :D
I won't always be here, and it will be a sad day when we have to go. :(

You were just in my neck of the woods, Maureen. Make sure you dress warm for Monterey and have a great time.

How wonderful Maureen, I have fond memories of Monterey, I think that's where we saw the sea otters in the kelp? Looking forward to your photos very much.

Yes, Penel, there are plenty of sea otters but I am hoping for Orca & Rizzos Dolphins :) Day to day they are seeing different marine life so it is a crap shoot for sure.

Lol!

I'm here, but not much going on. I did edit a picture of a rose that's a bit out of my norm.

Ah, the girls are alive & taking photos to boot. I am on my iPad but later today I will post some shots from our weekend in Monterey. No Orca but we did find a humpback whale tangled up in crab trap lines that we saved!! Quite an exciting hour of our 10 hours out on the water. We also saw the first Great Blue Whale of the season; so massive!! 80 feet long & 100 tons!
