Hmm I generally buy from online stores but I may check out the classifieds. Just worried about getting ripped off.

Fred Miranda is about as safe as you can get. Very good community.

Ill try it out. Does the Mamiya 80 1.9 work on a Mamiya 6 or 7? Or is it just exclusive to the 645 format?

Nope.

7 system is 43, 50, 65, 80, 150, 200. The 200 is useless; not RF coupled.

The Mamiya 7/7II (I have the latter) is such a sweet shooter. All the lenses are gems, but by my favorite is the 50mm. The only downside to the system is the relatively slow speed of the lenses... Though this is typical of MF. Even Hasselblad lenses aren't much faster; one stop at f/2.8. I wish the 80mm at least had the extra stop.

Yes, an f/2.8 lens would be nice. I'm not too bothered by it, though, considering even at f/4, DoF is very shallow on a 6x7 frame.

The only one with a filter is the last on of the set (yellow). Quick mask can also be your friend....The DR from the MM is amazing and because of all the info it makes a lot of things possible.

Heres a couple more.

I like the smooth glow around the trees near the sky. Very contrasty lens. ^^^
