I came across one of these on a hike on the Bruce Trail on the Niagara Escarpment near Milton/Campbelville, but it was on the ground and eating leaves - it didn't seem in the least perturbed by my presence. Where did you find this one?

Kind of hard to get the exposure right on a shot like this - black body with no contrast against a light sky - well done here!

Greg, I caught this little guy up a tree at the Mer Blue Bog in the east end of Ottawa. Apparently before I arrived he had been sleeping at the base of the tree. He loved the tree buds and was munching away quite eagerly. It was about 3pm, the sun was behind me so I exposed for him and added some exposure compensation.
