That would be incredible! I appreciate the offer immensely!

I live near lowell, ma. But I usually take long rides on Mondays on my scooter. Any day is fine for me, this photo sesh is going down in 2-3 weeks. So a decent bit of time to get my **** together.

Yeah, I have a ton of stuff too that you're welcome to use (various softboxes, reflectors, holders, stands, etc), but I'm down in Quincy.

with that said, agent, i like the picture near the bottom of the little girl, its the middle of those 3 pics, how do i achieve that look? basically shoot towards the sun and then lower the contrast in post?

You should be able to create haze in-camera without needing to worry too much about post processing to achieve the look. Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but I usually create haze by putting the light source (sun) inside the frame... but dial down the flash output so that the flash doesn't overpower the source light. I usually get better results when the sun is partially blocked by some obstruction like tree branches or even the subjects head. Shooting a few different angles creates different results/amount of haze, so be sure to experiment a bit. You also get better haze not shooting with a lens hood, plus you can get some cool flare.

On my list of things to do, too. I bought some yongnuo triggers for that purpose. Plus, Bach (the quiet guy who came with us on last year's winter outing) gave me his 580EXII after giving up on digital and going back exclusively to film. That means I get to play with 3 off-camera flashes.

I think my next lens will have to be the Canon 135L or Sigma 135 Art if rumors are true.

I would get either of those.

Didn't now that I see that pic on my comp I realize it was filled in with flash.

I have pretty much the same gear plus a ranger RX and boom stuff, but are we talking gear or what we're willing to let someone borrow?

I wasn't even talking about the CTO gel. I was impressed just being able to see the process in action.

i could run it by her...for sure...that would probably be the best thing for all involved. however, i told her that im going to use her photo's for a website that i (eventually put together) so any photo's/prints would be at cost (using whcc pricing+shipping). so that's probably the only way she'd want others to join in.

i know a lot of photographers dont like to work for free...so im just throwing that out there.

also...holy christ, i couldn't even think of being capable to utilize 95% of the equipment named here. lol. obviously it would be incredible if we did do a meet and i got to use others setups with their guidance...i definitely wouldn't feel right about borrowing much more than a couple light stands and maybe a trigger of the inexpensive variety.

let me know what you all think though, and i'll run it by her.
