New memory for my 7D - which type to buy?

^ That chart is how I picked my memory, which is a pair of 32gb Lexar 600x cards. Much higher numbers across the board. To be fair though, I need that frame rate for much of my work. Most people don't.

You do realise that, with the 7D at least, card speed has zero effect on the initial frame rate? Only after the buffer is full does the frame rate drop. How long it remains low is dependant on card speed.

Of course. I shoot whales for a large portion of my living during the winter, and I need that ability.
