I've ordered a used 70-300 DO for my M, and wanted a bit more to hold onto, so I ordered one of these
Fotodiox Pro, All Metal Black Camera Hand Grip (external link)
I'm not that happy with it. Build quality is very good, and it's not heavy, but it just doesn't really help improve the my grip on the camera, and isn't very comfortable when I use it.

I've always been a photographer, but I haven't always had a camera.

Not posting this as a complaint btw, just some info for anyone that was looking for this or something similar.

I would like to shoot some skateboarding soon, but until then, here's a shot from my bike on the San Francisco Bay Bridge. You can see the progress on dismantling the old bridge on the left.

This is the newest Samyang 8mm 2.8 fisheye in native ef-m mount.

Probably one of the better selfies I've seen.

Awesome shot!

... I just sold my 8mm EF-S mount. I think I'll have to it again, for the M now.

Sounds nice... "Foveon-like", too.

The original article (ARTICLE LINK (external link)) does warn this information is from:

"New source, so a big grain of salt for this one is required."

If Canon Rumors has reservations about the accuracy of the information, it must be really tenuous.

Thanks!

number 4 was taken after I was reprimanded by a Duke Garden employee that I wasn't allowed to take photos with lighting equipment (was a shoot through umbrella on a stand) Apparently I'm supposed to pay a $100/day (or $450/year) fee for being able to take "artistic" photos requiring lighting.

So #4 was taken with a single flash, gridded, on a monopod. I was able to take quick shots, sort of "run and gun" and not get caught lol.

As always, using the 300mm f4L on my 70D. Let me know what you think.
