A few weeks ago I got a 300 2.8 ii and after micro adjusting to +7 I think I'm getting closer to some sharper images. CC Welcome

What camera did you use? I am trying to buy a new body, currently have T3i and 70-200 IS II. Looking at the D70 and 5DIII? Thoughts?

I shoot with a 1DX which is great for sports but if I had to choose between a D70 and the 5DIII and both were in my budget I would go with the 5DIII

The D70 with it's crop sensor will give you more range and it shoots 1 fps faster then the 5DIII but in the end the 5DIII will give you a cleaner image with its full frame sensor.

In the end it all depends on the type of shooting you will be doing then buy the correct gear for you needs and budget.

Sean

Thanks for your suggestions! Wish I could justify the 1DX.
