That was first time I have taken that shot. I was actually walking to a wedding reception carrying 3 bags at the time. I just happened to be walking past at the right time and had a camera on my harness with a 16-35 and ND grad on it still from the last location. I stopped for a few seconds to get the shot then had to leave to get to the reception.

very nice, tad oversaturated/hdr, but still, nicely executed.

BTW, that 15-85 has fantastic starbursts!

Nice, I'm guessing you only get one shot at this a year.

I think you could get something like this quite often in that spot.

With that alignment? I took a sunset with the sun centered under deception pass bridge, it only aligns like that twice a year. But then again I'm only 40 miles from the Canadian border.

If you look at the base of the sculpture I wasn't square on. I'd imagine there would be a good few weeks when you could get a similar shot.

I'm used to 19 hours of sunlight in the summer, and just under 8 in the winter. Very nice shot though.

A little place called Willow Lake near Prescott, Arizona. A friend and I hiked around and
found this pretty little spot to shoot from.

QUOTED IMAGE

it's a great image, but what the heck happened to it? were you trying to correct an GND problem? the correction is really obvious.
