When AMASS launches, there will be other brands(Leica first but Nikon is coming) in their own specific fora. You may choose to ignore the ones that don't interest you.

You can READ ABOUT IT HERE.

Its been years I hear about that "new" system, and still nothing.
Is this a Myth?

I love the size of the m4/3 bodies and lenses but prefer the IQ of the Fuji. I found the Fuji a little slower to use which personally was a hindrance. I thought the EM5 was a blast to use. I would go all Olympus if they went to an APS-C censor (I'll take the slightly larger lenses) :)

As usual, we can't be happy with just one camera.....
I did not know that micro 4/3 were smaller than Fuji!
Maybe i'll give it a try!

thanks

Such a great idea for a thread. I personally can't wait start a digital medium format thread. Funny thing is not many own a $60 K camera system! ;)

Nope, no myth. It has been beta-tested and now little odds and ends are being worked on. Pekka is very busy(he does have a day job, you know). But it's coming VERY SOON. Just be patient.:)

It's of sigificance that the actual development is not a "team" effort. Pekka does it all himself for optimized quality control and debugging, but as was said, he has a "real world job"...fortunately he has worked well with POTN members doing Beta testing and providing useful feedback!

I guess he does a good job, hope to see this.....
One forum that I think looks ok is the DPreview....
Like the way it looks.

Will wait , if it could be out by the time Canon brings its new sensor....or the 7D2 would be great.

Wait...for what? New Canon releases get "swamped" with talk here...

AMASS blows DPreview into the dust. I bet that it will be here before the 7D2, but certainly before a revolutionary new Canon sensor!

AMASS is awesome and DPreview is meh. :)

As far as Canon sensors go, I wouldn't breath! They're going to recycle the current 7D sensor and jack up the price. ;)
