A news from me:
Before yesterday our time [Wednesday 7 May 2014], i went to a photography exhibition which was in Dubai called "Dubai Photoworld", and it wasn't bad even not so much to expect there, so i walked around to see what products i may see new to me, not much i don't know except some models new that i am not interested in.
But, to my sudden, i saw a booth that selling Samyang lenses, so i checked out some lenses, i felt like how i didn't see them before or heard about them before?!!! I mean the dealer or the distributor, so i asked them about one lens, Samyang 14mm, and they told me it costs 1450 AED [that is about $385], i walked away and then returned back in about an hour or 2, then i told them, if they can sell it for me for 1300 AED then i am in, to my surprise the salesman or the person there promoting in the booth said ok no problem, so i bought this lens with red line for Canon Mount, so 1300 AED [translates to about $350] without shipping or any extra costs is really a winner, i wasn't sure if that is a good price and i may find it cheaper online, but when i just checked out few minutes ago i found that i bought it cheaper the online.
Also as an addition, i bought Samyang filter holder with it, i bought it for 50 AED [~ $13.5], it is a plastic looks cheap, but damn, at this price who cares about the design quality, now i have to start buying damn big filters.
hope i can use this lens on my Sony more often and also Canon, and i hope more i will post here something interesting.
