Looks like they are now MoGoPod and only make monopods? No more straps from Carry Speed?

From my understanding Blackrapid killed them though their "patent infringement" cease orders.

CS can still be found in other countries.

Really? Dang it. I love my carry speed strap. I don't need a monopod.

love my carryspeed, extremely comfy and never slips off like Black Rapid. They knew Carryspeed was superior. Ebay/carryspeed.

Wow, looks like you're right! BR took out some competition through the Courts.

yup. i've walked around for hour's with my carryspeed. You don't even know it's on your shoulder. They had some quality issue's with the first release , but that got fixed really fast. I hope they are at this year's Exposure show in Toronto. If I don't buy anything i would still like to say thank's for the great product.

BR = Monster Cable. I won't buy their products just out of principle.

Correct. CarrySpeed (MillionWay International) tried to fight the battle in court but the legal fees was too much for a small company. From what I was told, BR pretty much took their sweet time which caused CS who is a small company not be able to afford it anymore. Money talks.

However, MillionWay International sold the CS brand to an overseas company. That overseas company is handling production and distribution. I don't know if MillionWay still has anything to do with the brand or the design/development.

MillionWay not only focuses on MoGoPod but they also have a bunch of other products (Kamerar and P&C which is also known as Photography & Cinema).

Thank you for clarifiying this issue/question.
The local distributor (in Asia) could not answer my question (why is the carry speed website is now mogopod?) they still sell/distributes carry speed straps but I ended up buying the competition fearing that after-sales support and product improvement will be unsatisfactory should I need it.

No problem. I guess the reason for the transfer is because since MillionWay no longer owns CS, they had to do something with the site and transfer to their MogoPod.

I'm sure they could of transferred the site but don't know if possible for international. Don't know the whole domain/hosting stuff. Plus, they want to probably distance themselves from CS brand in the event of future lawsuits.

But what I'm saying is all guessing. I'm sure the product is the same craftsmanship. After-sales support may be different.

Came across this thread looking for info on CarrySpeed - I too have loved my CarrySpeed strap - until today. For those of you still using the strap - if you find the swivel becoming tight, or getting diificult to swivel - be very careful. The receiver has a tendency to wear out, resulting in the ball pulling completely through - sending your gear to the ground. Not an attempt to slam CS - which is apparently out of business now? - just a warning to fellow owners who enjoy using this strap - inspect the receiver frequently.

In the US but in other region it's business as usual (in the Philippines at least)

I remember seeing Blackrapid when it first came out. My first reaction was "Cool idea but poor strap". Carryspeed was so much better. So sad to see it taken down in one of the larger, more visible markets.

Definitely not going to recommend BR straps in the future.
