I think this was stopped down to f/2 on the X-E1 via the Kipon BavEyes (speedbooster)

my best friends got married last week, managed to get a couple of shots off;

Shooting people with manual focus whilst wide open isn't half tricky though!

^It for sure takes some practice! I miss my focus confirmation when using this lens, I'm going to have to try putting a chip on it.

Wide open on the Fuji, no BavEyes this time (because I forgot it)

I love this lens on either of my main bodies, but I think I enjoy it even more on the Fuji since thanks to my BavEyes I can use it as either a 85/1.4 or a 135/2.1 :cool:

Not close... Lol, it's like 3-5 feet, but for portraits it doesn't really matter. Easily my best performing lens.

Took this one of myself with the Rok 85mm wide open on the X-E1 as a direct comparison with my 135/2.8 on the 6D

I will say that the 6D's WiFi makes this type of shot SO much easier...

Thread is at page 85... ooh, spoky.
Thinking of buying it.

Had any of you used this lens on a 1Ds or 1D ?
When looking through eyepiece does the camera show exposure? For example.. if i shoot with 2.0 with it show if im over/under exposed?

I've used it with both. Exposure does show through the eyepiece. It's a fantastic lens for the price.
