Hey have anyone used the 70D tethered into lightroom 4 via cable? I tried but it doesn't work it just shows a file icon on the LCD screen. Any suggestions on how I can achieve this?

Pretty sure you need LR5 for full 70D support. When it first came out I had to upgrade 4 to 5 for raw support

A few late Autumn shots from yesterday: all taken near the Tukituki river except the last which is the home of John Buck, owner of the famous Te Mata winery.

Portrait from a recent shoot.

7D, 24-105 L.
I used a 580Exii in a softbox and a 450ex as a fill flash.
This was the first time I had used a long extension E-TTL I made myself with a short cord and 30' of cat 6 network cable.

Was at a animal rescue coalition event. Where you could adopt everything from donkeys to gerbils.
Anyhow I saw a lady with her cell phone trying to chase down one of the dogs for a photo to post on its rescue page and thought man, I am sure I can get her something better then that.

A light went on in my head. I need lots of practice taking photo's to get better. I have weekends free and lots of shelters in the area need nice pictures of animals for their website/fb page.
I now have 4 scheduled shelters to shoot over the next 3 weeks. The shelters I talked to seemed super pumped about the idea.

The first shot of Rescue Photoz :)
Max, a cool dog who gives great hugs... available to go to your home today :)
