3 Story fall off the ladder.... 17-40 is toast. the 6d appears to work. The dial cover and eye cover popped off but so far functions ok with 2 new scratches. Going to send it into Canon for a full review.

Sigh got insurance 2 months ago thank goodness.

Ouch. That sucks, man!

Curious, where'd you get insurance for it? Never done camera insurance before and would like to consider it.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

Normal house contents insurance should cover it, but may need to be specified for the value of it?

Really like this shot CJ, the 85 shines in these portraits! Did you use any lighting or reflectors here? Those grad caps can be bad for shadows, but her face is nicely lit here.

My name is Jeff, not actually Jose Canseco.

Thank you. No additional lighting or reflectors.

I liked the look of the hallway lighting. I had her stand just being the light above get so it wouldn't cast a down shadow, and the lights on the side created a good enough fill.

Edit: if you notice, the lighting on the top goes light, no light, light, etc. I had her stand in the no light part so she could be filled by the light.
