Really nice. The second one might benefit from 1/3 from the bottom being cropped out.

I think he meant that you should remove some more from the bottom. The horizon goes through the center of the pic. It would look better at 1/3 from the bottom. Although the first one is centered, it works because the reflection makes it symmetrical.

I really like the contrast in the second one. Its like night and day.;)

I like the first one a lot! The second one has a few things I'd make suggestions about; I would also make a tighter crop as Pekka suggests. There are also some dust spots in the sky which are very easy to take out with the healing brush or clone stamp tool. It looks like it was taken at a high ISO and then lightened up in the foreground —*in PS or Lightroom I would reduce the color noise and also probably would slide the clarity slider a bit back.
