Haha. You're 2 for 2 tonight. That's the one I have.
Love it! Compact and lightweight.
Come on out for a meet and you can see both the backpack and the tripod.

For sure. Thanks. How much did you get yours for?

It was a Christmas present. Look them up on B&H. Around $200 if memory serves.

Another question, what do you think of the MeFoto tripod? I've been looking for a lighter tripod.

Any other suggestions welcome.

Those tripods look great for travel! SLRlounge did a small review of them and he found them to be very solid and great for general use! I have a Manfrotto 055XPROB which can get real heavy for carrying for too long, but it is incredibly stable!

Here's a shot from me left over from the weekend

Welcome, J.M.A. and nice first post.

I especially like the "under the bridge" colors.

I saw the mefoto's in my local camera store the other day, I was impressed by just how stable/sturdy they were for being so compact.

One thing I didn't like was how when the monopod goes together, the grip stuff on the tripod leg ends up about 12" below the monopod head lol. Seemed out of place.

I have one of those tripods, but it sells under a different name in Canada. ProFoto maybe? Anyways, it's a great tripod, very sturdy and lightweight. My only complaint is the ballhead. As you might expect for the price, there's a slight drift after it's locked in place. You can account for it during setup once you get used to it (aim a little higher and it will drop into place), so it's not a huge deal. Might get annoying if you're doing macro and need precision.

It comes with a well made carry case, quick release plate, a removable hook to hang a sandbag, and a little belt pouch to anchor the monopod against your body.

My name is Jeff, not actually Jose Canseco.

I love its compactness. It comes with a decent ball head too. I got a good deal on mine on ebay... < $160

Yeah. The ballhead is decent. I haven't had any issues with it.
