Is this the right adapter metabones III for canon ef lens to the e mount for Sony?

I don't see many photos here with the 70-200 FE. just curious , nobody wants that behemoth of a lens? less than 800 grams without the ring.

If Sony produced f2.8 version then i will buy A77-II immediately.

2.8 version would be so large and heavy, it will be exactly the same size as Sony's 70-200 2.8 for regular A mount, so there is no benefit of them to do it. It's impossible to make it smaller to cover full frame. So they did a F/4 version, which again is not smaller than F/4 for the other brands (Canon/Nikon) which tells you again that the advantage in being able to produce smaller lenses to cover full frame is only on a wide angle side. Once you go to Tele, it all equals out, and you end up with the same size lens.

In fact, I am curious to see (if and when) Sony makes a 85FE lens. I have a guess that it will be exactly the same size and weight as the current Sony 85 lens for Full Frame A mount. In fact, it might be even longer in length since they have to put in the distance between the sensor and the glass, that was removed from A7 and A7r bodies. Example is 55FE which is longer than most 50mm 1.8 lenses around. For 85, you would need the same distance.
