IMO all of these shots would have benefited with some pp.

Sorry, pp is post processing. It is not a bad thing. Most if not all shots benefit. If you can take photos that dont require some adjustments you have a much better camera than I have.

Had a quick look at your site. Sorry, but the photo's are fairly middle of the road, certainly nothing world class. Perhaps a little less bravado and a bit more work on your technique would help.

Cheers, Helen

What kind of post processing software would you recommend?

Photo Shop has a number of entry level products. I woud also recommend Lightroom. lots of good information both on line ans on this board. Take the time and do your research.

uhm, you call your work amazing and excellent but don't know about PP software???

Anyway, you can try the free GIMP, Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop, OnOne's perfect photo suite, etc.

As a PhotoMASTER, I thought you'd know? Just about any photo taken digitally needs some PP, cameras are (not yet) smart enough to do it all for you.

Way to go people, great way of making a new person feel welcome on this forum. You all sound like a bunch of snobs.

Yes, because a person new to the forum who's already labeling their post and work as book worthy deserves for us to hold their hand, pat them on the back, and tell them they're the greatest photographer known to man. Yeah, okay.

Some moments are too amazing to be ruined with words.
