Do you think that you can do a test, when the battery is fully charged, to see what its the autonomy using only the modeling light?

You are only suppose to run the modeling lamp for an hour at a time. Not sure what your asking about testing?

The battery will last longer then an hour using the modeling light, but its only recommend to use for a hour and let rest before using again. If you run it longer then an hour and damage the unit it will void your warranty.

Remember this is a portable strobe unit and should not be compared to a studio strobe.

Again that is more in a studio ac strobe units feature not portable. Remember your running off a battery and your suppose to be using it as a strobe not consistent light. Its not that it gets really hot since it is an led I've tested it running it for an hour. Having a fans is just going to drain your pack. If your wanting a conistent light unit I would get a light panel setup instead.

Time 11am full sun
ISO 100
1/200
f/2.8
ND16 filter
cl-600 stock reflector 6"

No need for HSS in my style of shooting these images are sharp and crisp enuff for me
Without a little motion blur then whats the difference then just posing and doing a composite image.

Scott, Good examples.
If you had used a model no one would have notices the slightly blurred foot anyway. :-)

Full power? That's as good as 1/1500 shutter speed.

Anyone shooting action is familiar with the adage to try to time the shot to a peak of action when things have momentarily stopped. Not that that's easy to do. :-)

Scott,
Have you tried any SuperSync testing?
I know that you prefer ND filters but I'm sure there are others that would like to try this approach.
It looks like the t.1 duration is a bit short for SuperSync, especially with something like the YN-622c since it doesn't have ability to tune the FP sync delay.
