MedicineMan4040: nice and very detailed macro, i´am no macro expert, but i would personally lower the exposure a bit maybe to get rid of these highlights;-)a

I assked this question in the Digital Video forum but either nobody knows or they just haven't commented...

So when shooting video with the 70D on a tripod is it best to turn off IS? Or does it matter? I usually turn it off when shooting photos on a tripod.

Well sort of. Doesn't really address video. But I suppose turing it off for video as I have for still photos is probably the way to go.
