any suggestion on settings? I am going to try and get some photos. Only thing I have shot in the sky is the moon, and it don't move.

Unfortunately I don't think we'll be seeing any sky around here, too many clouds. I'll be keeping an eye out anyway though. If it clears I'm definitely going to try and get a shot.

I would think that a tripod mounted camera with a wide lens set to a large aperture, ISO 1600/3200 at 30 seconds should do nicely.

Think it's feasible to try for cityscapes? May have to do multiple expsoures.

Don't bother.... This was always supposed to be a short event. There will be nothing tonight. Unlike other regular showers where they build over several days and then gently fall off.

Saw one legit trail last night. Being I am on the better end of a cold, but still fighting....I am pretty disappointed.

Stayed up last night... pretty much a bust for me

I guess I was spoiled by the Leonids in 2001 where we counted several hundred in an hours time. Last night I only saw one meteor in over an hour. I do have a fair amount of light pollution here but there's a sizable chunk of sky overhead that's fairly dark and I'd expected to be able to see quite a few from all the hype.

Did everyone else have a similar experience? How did those of you fare who are lucky enough to be far far away from cities?

I got up 1:30am, started the imaging, captured a few will post in the photo section shortly.
Overall the media set my expectations too high.....I viewed from 1:45-3am and very few visible to my naked eye.

I did get up when it was supposedly at it's peak. Scattered clouds but enough breaks to see open stars. Not many at all. Very disappointing.
