One of the cool things about living in the southwest.... The Saguraro cactus bloom every May... the flowers open at night between 8pm and 11pm, and then die off by mid-day the next day. You gotta either shoot them at night or early in the day for the best chance.

The deserts can be so beautiful when in bloom... :)
