Going to NYC trip this weekend and I was wondering if 24mm is wide enough for this trip? Or should I buy 17-40mm? I have 6D. I was planning to take my 24-70 and gopro for wide angle but after looking at these beautiful pictures I don't think gopro will cut it.

I have a 16-35 4L IS on order and wish I've had it on all my NYC outings. I've used my 24-105L and 28 1.8 and wished I had more.

...You should be fine with the 24mm, the wide angle option on the gopro should be able to pick up some of the slack, unless you're trying to find an excuse to buy yourself the 17-40!

all of my shots are with the 24L so you'll be fine. 24 and 35 are good for NYC.
