How do you take pictures of people in front of sunset.

On a technical note, yes, the image shows a really nice balance between a beautiful sunset and a nicely lit model; the natural and artificial lighting complement each other.

On a compositional note, not so much.

Again, finding the balance between sunset skies and flash, very good example; well done.

This is such good work. Love the way the sun creates a hair light, and I am definitely going to steal that idea. The flash is soft, no harsh look here.
