Misspelled it, sorry. Four or five from 400 in total. Not four of five

Ah, OK, that's better!

It sometimes drives me nuts when that happens, I do a shoot and only toss a handful out because the rest are, at least in the short term, too good to just toss!:)

[QUOTE=Rolfe D. Wolfe;16937112]Oh yea, just dl Magic Lantern the other night and forgot about it.

About to install it now. I used it on my 550d, and it is superb esp for video stuff.

I just want to know how many shutter clicks my 5d has.

Rolfe, did the software enable a shutter count?
I sent you that site I came across that claimed to perform a count via a USB cable and a Mac.

Joe

With the right glass, the results that you can get from this "old" camera are impressive - this is a test shot from the C/Y Zeiss Distagon 28 f/2.8 that I just received. The feeling of depth, shape and texture that it can capture awes me.

Well said, and, someone can enjoy a quality full frame camera and stay on a budget.
Your image demonstrates that quite well....Joe

Nice work! You have a great combination ..... I mentioned to someone earlier that the 24-105 was part of the available 5D kit when the 5D was first introduced.
Thanks for sharing....Joe

I recently upgraded from my first DSLR, the 5D. Had come from film SLRs, so the 5D was the first FF DSLR that was within my price range. Never really wanted the 5D mkII because it had the same AF system. Recently bought the 5D mk III and totally loving it! Really great AF and can see improved dynamic range. Still keeping the 5D mkI as backup/ still great with stills. Here are some of my favorite pics taken with the 5D:
