Here are a few shots I took while at the NHRA Toyota Summernationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.

Nice shots! haven't been to the drags in a while. Love that Chevy wagon up in the air.

It's too bad the wall is in the way for the first three. Nice shots otherwise.

In this kind of shooting situation your options are highly limited. So get the best exposure and best action and be done with it. The second image looks like a '66 chevy chevelle wagon. We had one. New they were $2300. $2300!!!! It was a great car too. Had no idea it would have value so it got junked sometime in the 70's.

I agree. I wish the wall wasn't blocking the view. My only other option would be to shoot the car in the far lane except the Christmas tree would get in the way.

Do you have any in motion? Would love to see that.

Good shots.

You might want to consider a larger aperture, 100 ISO and perhaps a higher shutter speed. You caught the action well at 1/500 but f10 and f8 left the wall and background in focus.
