Gorgeous shots and critter. I've only seen one or two foxes in the wild. I'm jealous.

LOL, you sound like Jeremy! When they're this young they're cute. When they are adults and chase your cat right up onto your deck like one did here this morning, not so much. I was just out with the .22 taking some practice shots. Molly's heart was just racing from the narrow escape this morning.

Hi Jens, thanks for the kind comment. The EXIF data is available if you click on the individual photos and go to Flickr. But they are as follows, for one of them anyway....they should all be similar :

Canon EOS-1D X
EF500mm f/4L IS II USM +2x III
ƒ/8.0
1000.0 mm
ISO 4000
1/640

It was, Maureen, thanks. I know you like your foxes!

When we are in Alaska next month we are doing an all day cruise through the Kenai Fjords. Then we will have dinner on Fox Island which I am really excited about. Since it doesn't get dark all evening we should have good light until we leave. :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Great work. I am working to get a den pinned down around here and I think I finally have one found after talking to dozens of people. Your patience has paid off very nicely. Personally, I love #3&4 All are good but those two just catch a touch more personality. Thanks so much for sharing.

Have fun with all the foxes on Fox Island, Maureen! And the eagles, bears and whatever else you find up there!

That seems to be a pup. Really cute! I love the second one, but they all are great.
