I visited with a family of Red Fox's over the weekend and this year they have 5 kits. 3 of the kits were very bold and curious.

This was the highlight of the morning for me when one of them decided to investigate the clicking sounds a bit further.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this family of Fox's because of what's been done to them that makes them so used to humans.

I know of what your thinking is and Im sure the so called purists would give you flack about being so close but I have wild game come check me out all the time. You have seen me accused of having a pet, Deer, fox, bear, Moose, Racoon, Pine Martin, Blue jay, Hummer, Chickadee, Wood pecker, Snapping turtle, and many more all in the last three or four month's. All were instigated buy the animal's that came to me. I was not hiding...I was not there to harm. I was just there. Some could kill me easily but out of mutual respect I am still alive today. So I for one do not condemn you for interacting with wild life. I do not go out of my way to cause a kinship that would put the animal in danger with other human's but it is the nature of human's to kill what they don't understand. This I can not change unfortunately.

I should say... I have many who ask if I shot that bear for coming so close to my home. ?? I look at them like they have two head's and ask ...WHY

Wonderful shots, Duane. Your foxes must be a slightly different part of the breed with their longer, thinner snouts, compared to those around here.
