She's 20 months now. Yesterday my wife was out so I thought I'd be fun to take some photos. Moved the dining table out the way, popped the 580EX on the sideboard pointed at the ceiling, and asked my daughter to stand by the wall and she did!! :)

Not for very long, but long enough for a couple of frames... Now that she can stand still and is actually willing to take part in something I'm asking her to do I can start doing some indoor studio portraits! Exciting! :)

How did you manage to capture a 20 month old with a clean face.

LOL

T'was a very clean face

IMAGE: https://photosoffrankie.files.wordpress.com/2014/06/1k5a9649-face.jpg

She'd actually job got up from a nap, so no chance to get dirty yet

So nice to have to do almost zero photoshop for a change, rather than having to edit it out snot, dirt and banana.... (i did edit out that little cut in her nose on the version i printed, but the above is the straight out of camera one)

Edit: the shallow DoF really shows on the 100% crop. I've ordered a 18"x12" print, can't wait to see it :)

Thanks! :D

She definately won the genetic lottery -- she seems to have all the best features from my wife and I -- my blue eyes and bonde hair and my wife's everything else! :)

Well, she does have my belly at the moment too
