Nice work David

That combo really puts out the power and great for long throws. I think it would be a plus for any bird watcher shooters.

I have not tested it on a subject yet, hoping to get to this next weekend. I did have to file down the 2 pins to get it fully seat in my 360. I wish it slid in like tube did in the top or like the 180 it fits perfect with no mods.

I'm thinking the same thing. find a way to modify the extender so the tube fits all the way in. Having it out a bit impacts where the flash tube is relative to the reflector and may affect the output.

I wonder what the difference is in the specifications for the Quantum tubes and the Cheetah Light tubes. One would think the pin connector is a standard spec independent of the flash tube.

I've been following this thread for quite some time.

Just a quick tip for you folks looking to achieve High Speed Sync with these units if:
a) you don't have a cells II transmitter (I don't have one since it's not available for Nikon)
b) have an existing ttl/hss capable trigger such as the YN-622C/N.

Just attach the Godox TX on top of the 622 and you can take advantage of the HSS.

Note: you don't need a 622 unit on the flashes themselves.

I will likely buy a second one from Ed. I bought one with my first CL-360, but got a second not long ago. Guess I will just go with what I know works.

I've got one of those Quantum tele reflectors and extender. I don't remember trying it on the 360. I'll have to give it a try.

Here are two head shots I did this morning. The young men are two of this year's Evans Scholarship recipients from Westmoreland Country Club here. For those who aren't golfers, the Evans Scholarship program awards full scholarships to caddies meeting the qualifications for need and academic excellence.

Used a CL-360 at 1/16th power through a Westcott collapsible umbrella which was about 6 feet away. Fuji XT1 with 55-200mm lens at F5.6.

Very nice camera system. I have it, XE2 and X Pro 1. THIS was shot with the XT1 and XE2.

Whats it look like with the extender on there? I'd snatch up a half dozen of those extenders if Ed started selling them.
