This is a big forum so chanses to find someone here with that combo are good.
In the meantime I can reply with a slight variant answer.
For years I'm used to the 300F4 and I found it to be one of my best lenses so I use it alot.
Since the 150-600 came out I was the first to acquire one in my hometown.
I use the Tammy with a 600D, a 5DII and 5DIII and until now only with the 5DIII there were some AF mishaps at AI-Servo.
I'm blown away by the IQ (mostly wideopen) in that matter that I'm actually considdering in selling the 300F4.
Too bad for the loss of 1,5 stop but for me Tamron succeeded in making a 600mm handholdable and affordable with a quality certainly not to be ashamed of.
Greetings,

I sold my 300 F4L IS as well - haven't missed it once. The Tamron VC is really impressive.

I still have the 400 5.6L but its just been sitting on my desk since I picked up the 150-600

Thank you Skidlid. I would think that the bag for the Sigma 150-500mm would come close to fitting it, but this lens is even bigger than I expected. I got mine yesterday after finding a Tamron authorized dealer who had had a return. It is just like new, including all paperwork but since it was previously registered I will only get the one year warranty from the store. If need be I will send it in for the firmware update but so far no problems. I got it at a reduced price (well below retail) and it is just like new so I am a happy camper. So far the lens focus has been flawless, but I will play with it more over the weekend. I also was impatient and didn't want to have a possible wait for several months so I went with this route. Best of luck with your new lens when it arrives. I think that you will love it. :)

Canon 6D, &7D T1i, Canon 24-105L, 17-40L, 70-200 F4L IS, 50mmL, 135L, 200 2.8L, Sigma 50mm original, Tamron 150-600, some Lensbaby gear
