Twilight capture at Peggy's Cove. Not the typical lighthouse scene so interested in feedback. Thanks in advance.

There's just enough detail in the shadows to let you know where they are, but not so much as to ruin the silhouette. You caught the boy making a gesture towards something off camera, which, IMHO, adds a little tension to the shot. The silhouette isn't very crisp, but that could just be compression from having to make the shot so small for this website. If I was to offer any suggestions, it would be to wait a few more minutes until the sun was lower and the lighthouse was lit. Of course, if this was a shot of opportunity and not one that was posed, that wasn't an option. "Everything will be alright. I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

Jun 21, 2014 08:26 | #6 If I were editing it, i'd move the lighthouse to the right so it is in the 1/3 line... there's too much empty space there and too close to the left edge... i'd even remove the little weed on the right, and i'd darken the foreground so it disappears and becomes black.
