Herb, thanks for the pointer, I just might have ordered (2 minutes ago) the last one B+C had from their shipment yesterday. But definitely call ahead before submitting the order if their website still says it's in-stock, as their inventory level is about 5 minutes behind real-time.

I think we lucked out because when I called yesterday. they said they only had 3 but congrats on getting one too!

Yeah, I also made sure they were on the Authorized Sigma dealers list, too, before buying it! :D

Rainy night, so I can't do a lot of testing outside. Plus, dogs move too much...

Really like #3, use my dog all the time for testing lenses.

Found this interesting using a moving subject…

Starting to like this lens, although my heart is still desiring a 50mm 1.2L ...

Halleluah! Finally received my S50Art from B+C Photo (Thanks again, Herb!). (And canceled my original order still on back-order)

So far, the AF hits on near-field objects and far-field objects, without any MFA on one of my 5D3 bodies. I was just taking some random shots in my office and in a break room that's pretty large.

The AF is fast and assured. Not much hunting. I haven't tried it in low low light yet, but I'm stoked for some shooting this weekend.

Pat,

You are welcome sir! Did they give you a sigma shirt? They gave me one as a freebie!

My copy is amazing! This lens is super fast and precise. Will post pics later (man I need a 6d or 5dk3) =(

Are they an authorized dealer? (Nevermind, just checked and they are)

Looks like they still have them in stock..... o.O

Thanks msowsun!

I actually masked it with a matte filter. Here's the original photo:
