Know your place. I will monitor ANY thread I like, you are in no position to give me instructions. Perhaps you can keep your "instructions" to other people here that have turned this thread into their own "slideshow".

I have read the title very well, thats why I have posted only a few that I considered sharp but thanks for your concern....

Sorry- that was an "editorial comment" not driven toward you. Maybe a better way to corral a flooder is to "private message" them? You can delete my post if you think it was counter productive.

PM'ing these guys would be futile. Big egos are at play here. Same thing happens in almost every "post your anything". Same guys posting their hearts out, kissing each others back (even if the pic sucks) just to get some kissing back and caress their egos. Im posting much less since I cannot be hypocritical. It gets ridiculous. I have nothing against you BTW.;)

Thanks and agree. I quit posting on some of those long ago. Obviously a private party so to speak. I know some of them personally. Ego driven. Not my game.(too old for that)

Just in the past 2 months alone you can find these quotes in the..

"Post the sharpest picture that you've ever taken" thread.

"I have stationary shots that may be sharper but I'm rather proud of this"
"Not sure if this is the sharpest because I don't keep tabs"
"Not my sharpest overall"
"Not the sharpest but one of my favorites"
"Some of mine" (3 different "sharpest picture", not pictureS)
"2 of my favorites that I was very happy with the sharpness." (Again, picture not pictureS)
"I got a few." (Seeing a trend here)
"A couple of my recent ones" (I'm guessing has more than just "THE SHARPEST" posted)
"Don't know if they're THE sharpest"
"Here's one of mine"....very next day...."Here's another".....2 days later" Another from me".....later that day....."and another..."
"Don't know if this is THE sharpest" (Posts 2 photos)
"for me it's a tossup between" (Posts 2 photos)
"Here's a few to contribute since my last post " (Posts 4 photos)
"I'm happy with these two......."
"Don't know if these are the sharpest" (Posts 5 photos)

Gear: Yes.
Insert stupid photography quote here to make me more of a photographer.

I thought this thread was for pictures...let's get it back on track. Remembe, "sharp" is a relative term. Amatuers, like myself, will take pictures they consider sharp and they won't be nearly as sharp as someone else's that was taken with the most expensive or best gear (since the best may not be the most expensive). No one should be criticizing anyone's pics in this thread. Doing so is likely to discourage a novice from posting and makes us (this forum community) all look bad.

Back to posting pictures (please)!

This thread would have died a long time ago if we really were only allowed to post our one sharpest picture. Just sayin
