Hey tony you shouldn't cut off the palm trees at the top, maybe work on composition a little more.

is this a better composition, maestro?

I much prefer the version w/ the palm tree (even w/ a few fronds missing off the top).

Never heard of IOS registrax software but I do like Autopano Giga; it has never failed to put together a mosaic or panorama (daylight, astrophotography or nightscape). And I use it a fair bit:

Very nice Carlo. At 16 mm ? With the Metabones III? Were there any distortion or vignetting corrections? What are your impressions so far?

Thanks! My only experience with the lens are the shots I posted, but so far so good to me. Didn't do any vignetting or distortion corrections, so what you see in the images is what you get out of the camera (in terms of vignetting and distortion anyway).

It seems to play nicely with the a7r and metabones adapter. IS works as expected.

A couple of goofing around shots....

This is a coworker. I was doing some corporate casual shots (5D III + 70-200 f/2.8L II), but had a little thin DOF fun with the a7R + Otus 55mm at f/1.4.

Experimenting with some new lights and modifiers (Westcott Skylux mixed with two Canon 600Ex-RTs fired with a Yongnuo radio trigger on the a7R @ 100mm f/11):

Thanks Todd.
One thing the A7R has gotten me looking at is a tilt/shift. I think the TS-e 24mm would be nice to evolve into using......that and or wait until an FE wide angle is offered. I know the tilt-shifts are for slow and methodical work-that seems to fit the A7R just fine.
