Just starting out photography for my first year. I took a photography class at my high school and immediately was hooked. I know it's cliché, but capturing those fleeting moments and creating something out of nothing is why I love photography so much.

These two are some of my closest friends. They're wonderful people. Being that I love taking portraits (that was often the subject of my personal projects for my class), people started asking me for personal 'photo sessions'. So I thought hey this would be really fun! They get pictures and I get to do what I love.

So here, I'm taking pictures for my friends that are dating. The affection between the two is so strong and their laughter and joy is infectious to all those around them. Hope you enjoy these photos, I'm open for some criticism!

By far my favorite from this set is the second photo.
It really shows the feeling of a couple as a single entity in a big world, it's a very emotive image.. :)

I also like #2 but I wish the 2 out of focus bushes on the right weren't there. Maybe a closer crop to take them out..or perhaps cloning to keep the perspective? The balloon in #3 unfortunately landed on the guys back and kind of kills what would be a great shot, for me anyway. The last one is MONEY! I wouldn't change a thing. Overall you did a great job and I am sure that they are very pleased with the results!

Thank you point-n-shoot-n for pointing those out! The balloon bugged me a little there but I knew the couple would like the picture so I gave it to them. That's a good idea. I'll try cloning! Thanks! This is only my second time doing something like this :)

BrickR, thank you! That means a lot to me as that is what I was trying to do!

I really like these images. In #2, it looks like there's a dust spot close to where the couple are.

Thanks!

And it's a balloon haha I can understand where you're coming from though, that's why I was debating on leaving it in color! Should I?

#2 is a great shot. Please don't add selective color! It's been done to death.

I really love both silhouettes. They'd make good stock photos too.

No.2 and the last for me too. Was going to say 4 & 5 look a bit soft, but having checked them on your Flickr, love all of them.
