Earlier this week along the Alaska Highway near Kluane Lake in Yukon, we saw a six grizzlies. Only one was not in a hurry to get back into the bush. Turns out it was more interested in the BBQ in a hatch at the back of our fifth wheel trailer!

Saw these two on the same trip but they were further away and more shy.
Also saw a mom griz with a first year cub - they boogied very quickly into the bush so no photos.

Great series! I hope you had a can of "pepper" for that BBQ, we never go into bear country without it. You have been a great help, too many of my bear shot are going the other way. Now all I have to do is to make lunch and I can get them looking at me but I'll need a 600mm f/4.0 just to be safe! Thanks for sharing your great photos...Ron
