^^^Nice job, I would just like to see some longer glass used on the 3rd shot to isolate the subjects more.

^Thanks! Yes, I had my 5Dc with 24-105L and on the other shoulder 7D with 70-200 f4L IS. I took several shots like you mentioned, but didn't post them here since they were on the 7D. I really liked the 5D and 24-105 combo - used it for 75% of my shots.

Interesting. Really like the deep black color. Train blur in background?

In my attempt to get diagnosis information I bought the 5D service manual (NOT the same as the owners manual) from a company called tradebit. I toyed around trying to send it in an email but it wont go. Any ideas of how to send this file? Im 100% sure some here would like to get it. It has lots of technical information in it,but unfortunately the diagnostic things I was hoping for are not there,or I need to interpret the information Im reading.

This is something Im offering free to who ever would like it.

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not too sure.

I came across this in DP Review a while back. I am not a good enough tech to use it, but, maybe it would be of help to someone....Joe

I struggle with my CPL and black cars. I dont like the black too much as it completely takes away any shape in the body. I need to practice some more to see if I can improve my black cars when using my CPL. And yes, that is a train car. I have another shot, same angle, but with a white train car instead of the semi rusty one. I like the rusty one as it gave some definition to the car, otherwise it kind of looked like white wall.

Hey guys got a q-

I just imported and uploaded a bunch of pics from today at the aquarium.

When they uploaded I noticed the order was wrong. Upon further inspection I noticed it was because the picture numbers were at 9999 and then reset back to 0001.

I always keep my cameras to continuously count as opposed to reseting upon every format.

So my questions are-

I obv have not taken 9999 pictures with the camera, ive had it maybe 2 mos if that...

So basically that means that my shutter has AT LEAST 10k actuations right? Because it could have hit 9999 already and reset?

What was the 5dc rated for? 100k actuations?

There was a shutter life DB for a bunch of cameras, not sure how accurate it is:
