Just picked up this lens today at B&H.

All handheld. Full size photos below are varying apertures. SOOC no editing.

I've uploaded these images at full res so go to my flickr album to check them out.

while I know that this is more for the FF - could anyone with experience with a crop and a 10-22 compare?

I have not had any time to go out shooting with the new lens. Bah. It's been sitting on my desk, staring back at me tauntingly.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

Thanks! #2, 4 and 5 were tripod. All others hand-held. Picture #3 (the swing) was hand-held at 1/4 second, but I had others up to about 1/2 second which looked great.

Really cool! #3 definitely showcases one of the advantages of IS for handheld shooting. What was your keeper rate at 1/2 a second? I can reliably stabilize up to two stops, but that third and fourth stop take a bit more effort for me.

Same as you... About two stops. I can get three or four, but keeper rate is very low.

invertalon - most impressive display! SOOC? Sharpening? resizing?

Mariosworld - also very impressive example of sharpness of the lens

Ceril,

Just my standard processing from RAW... My default sharpening values in lightroom, resized to 1200 pixel across for my flickr page and low export sharpening. Same that all my other photos get!

Couple shots using towards the 35mm end of the lens. Slight pincushion distortion but hardly noticeable in most applications. By the way, this lens handles backlit situation beautifully.

I've captured handheld images like this with my 10-22. I love these shots! Great job!

UWA allow for 1/focal length. 1/15 sec is no problem, especially with IS, so capturing a fast moving object blurs nicely!
