Thank you for this report as i was thinking of buying this for the wife. Now no more.

this is a great camera for the wife actually. AF is great on it for taking pictures of kids, and it has good face recognition. no shutter lag, good tracking.

I'm so torn on deciding which camera to purchase. I've narrowed it down to the a6000, Sony RX10, and the Fuji X-T1. I've heard and read so much good and bad with all of them my brain hurts.:D I don't want to spend $1300 on something that is not good. Help!

can anyone show me a shot of ISO, 1600, 3200 and 6400 in low light? high ISO in bright light will not show noise as much.

some guys test the ISO in bright light. they increase the ISO and shutterspeed and f stopped down. i don't think that's the right way to test.

my wife is planning to buy one but he asked me to do the homework.

There is a deal for A6000 at Amazon:

Although looks like it's backorder, not sure how Amazon handles this.

^thanks :)
Lots of cameras=lots of (too much age and too little sense).
More I use the A6000 more I love it. I started with Nex-5, then Nex-6, then Nex-7 which I sold today. I love how Sony keeps pushing the envelope.

ok...24mp Exmor sensor. Crazy high iso capability. Shoots 11fps. $648 dollars new.

Whats the down side to this camera?

Is the EVF bad?
