Hi
I have just purchased a Sony A7R and am looking at the Metabone EF to E adapter. I see one on eBay here http://www.ebay.com.au …_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 (external link)

Will this work OK with my Canon TS-E 17mm?

Rob

Rob, They've just released the Mark IV version of the adapter. They specifically targeted improving performance with tilt-shift lenses in the updated adapter. Have a look: http://www.metabones.com/products/details/MB-EF-E-BM4 (external link)

+1

For anyone with the 17mm or 24mm TS lenses, the mk IV is designed with those in mind. I just upgraded from the mk III to IV, and I am noticing better sharpness in shifted areas. Others are reporting less flare or ghosting from internal reflections.

I've noticed flaring only a few times and only at very high ISOs.

Does metabones offer an upgrade program?
