You should follow B&H or Adorama on twitter because they usually tweet when they got them in-stock!

Is someone else having trouble focusing with outer points on this lens? When i focus with center point the focus is spot on but when I use outer points for the same set-up, it gets front-focused. Anyone else experiencing this?

What body are you using? I was getting some inconsistency with non-cross-type points on the 5D3. I'm currently have only cross-type points selectable and I'm getting very little inconsistency.

Beach Camera has it listed at $1199. What a rip! No thanks, I'll wait for BH or Adorama.

Definitely - I'm on a 5D Mkii and having this issue. But I've been chalking this up to me getting used to the lens and the body I'm using being unreliable with outer points.

The 5DII is like playing the lottery with the outer points anytime you're under F4 with any lens period. I'm going to upgrade to a 1 series or 5DIII ASAP.....which for me means probably 2 years or so

My 5d3 outer points consistently front focus with very large apertures like with my 50 1.2. Wrote a thread on that. So sorry might not be much better for you.

The more focus points you have, the more likely youll have trouble with the Sigma lenses lol. Less is more! haha

If only you can micro adjust at each focus points. haha
