Sir Jun kumusta? I just bought the Tamron 90mm f2.8 wants to do a little bit of macro although I would like to use this lens for portrait shots also. I have not really use it yet, I just got back my Tamron 150-600mm with the new firmware and I am still testing it. Did you sent yours for upgrade or you don't need to?
I am confused reading the above few posts.
well it is what it is
Wala lang maraming ibon dito sa Alberta so I got the Tamron 90mm for macro. I really love it. Last weekend we took my nephews boys to the Land of Dinosaurs (Drumheller, AB) and used it inside the museum and I was happy with the amount of keepers. I wasn't getting much luck using the incamera flash so all were done with no flash. No doubt it's a good portrait. The only negative for me is that I think it's a bit long for family gatherings (unless you like all head shots ) . But I guess that's what portrait is LoL.
I got the 150-600mm 3 weeks ago so I hope I really have the new f/w (it seems to respond the way you guys were talking about it on the other thread but it be nice to know for sure ) and I think I like it more than my 100-400. I realized the debate over IQ but to me reach is more important. My other nephew is "all Canon" so I may sell the 100-400mm to him to recoup the cost of the Tamron. I'm also a little disappointed that it does not work with my 1.4TC.
