Speaking of the 70-200 OSS, took an A6000 on Kruger safari last month; used the the 70-200 + A6000 for the close stuff:

It's a great lens IMHO, some say its too big but for effective 300mm I don't think so

Was going to give this camera a test drive along with a couple of others over the weekend, unfortunately the rental company was out. Maybe next weekend. The pics in this thread look great everyone.

Vinz, what adapter are you using with your A6000? I see that you used your Sig 150 f2.8 macro lens with this camera for the shots of Natahlie (and very nice shots they are!).

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the Metabones worked on both a7 and a6000. I assumed it would but I know what's happened in the past when I make assumptions. :D

Well, I went and bought this little camera. 599€ for the body and Yongnuo EF to E smart adapter. I also bought Sigma 19mm as it was super cheap.

With EF-S 17-55mm mounted to the a6000 the thing looks like a beast, but when I put the Sigma 19mm to the a6000, it feels just like I wanted it to feel. Small and lightweight packed with crazy set of functions I like. Superb image quality is a bonus ;)

Here's a shot from evening walk and a second one with automatic lens correction. (just a random house)

But I have to say that the EF-S 17-55mm IQ is hard to beat on this, but 1-2 second autofocus isn't that great. I'll invest to Sony optics later.

Ok, after a few weeks with my A6000, I have to say I am quite impressed with what it can do. My thoughts were confirmed today when I found a YouTube tutorial hosted by B&H with Gary Fong going over the A6000 in great detail. I had no idea the capabilities of this camera, since the manual and other information is sparse, but after spending 90 minutes with the video, I now have a greater understanding and an even greater appreciation for what the A6000 can do. I bought the bundle with the 16-50 and the 55-210. Not impressed with the 16-50, the 55-210 is pretty amazing, and I picked up a Sigma Art 30mm f/2.8 which really brings out the image quality. That is pretty much paired with the body now, since it's sharp and versatile, and makes me zoom with my feet.

All in all, this is one amazing camera IMHO. No regrets here. I do want to pick up some better glass, and will when I get more info on whats available. It seems the lens selection is almost as sparse as the info on how to use it, but I'll get there.

16-50 is a great small lens, with very good AF, and if you shoot in jpeg, or use acr for profile correction, decent results. The corners will never be sharp. Its a general purpose walk around lens, not a landscape lens.
The 30 2.8 is optically fantastic, but focusing is no where as good as sony Native lenses. The 501.8 is a great lens, optically very good, good focusing.
I am also using an adapted canon efs 10-18. very nice lens.
