Hi all,

Had an eventful weekend thanks to a friends decision to plan his wedding for the Saturday, so attended the Friday & Sunday. I went with General Admission this time around, while fine for Friday, Sunday was a total failure for both viewing position and photos.

Anyway here goes, all from general viewing areas with 400mm f5.6 through fence, most with a 1.4x. the sun ruined most of my shots thanks to glare but when it went behind the clouds the gear fought back... pretty happy with some of these

C&C always welcome

1. Roman Big John

Excellent. Crisp, great colour balance & framing.

Pick one ... I'll not the the marmite, but that is just personal taste ... I'll go with No5.

Great shots! You found a great place to sit. I go to Montreal & Austin and find it tough to get good shots from down low without dealing with a fence too difficult to shoot through.

Silverstone is on my list, maybe for next year. Any advice on viewing areas? Both for pictures as well as passing opportunities with the new layout?

Great set of shots, taken from what looks like to me Luffield

I would imagine Sunday being a waist of time for taking shots, because of the amount of people there.

Loving the image of Lewis

Well done

Thanks a lot, I know the blurry ones arent to everyones taste but in the limited positions I needed some variety :)

Cheers, these are all through chainlink catch fencing, so not too thick. Positions vary on what you want to achieve but luffield, copse and club give you reasonably low shots on the outside of the circuit, this is just general admission access so a basic ticket will allow for these opportunities.

Thanks very much, always on a monopod regardless of the type of shot - just keeps everything a bit more controlled. As for my sense of humor - it varies in success haha

Cheers, I think that's one of my favorites, I've still got more to go through. Most from Luffield yes but a few from both wellington straight and club corner. In deed the crowds made it reasonably miserable for photography on Sunday (as it normally is)

Thanks GAZ, got a few more from that angle that I need to put through the processing machine :)
