A very low crowd day in October

I love WDW during low crowd days!

Sorry I'm not that person, I hate crowds, but I figured someone had to since people still insist on going during the busiest times of the year.

You will never catch me at Disney World right now, no way.

I was actually surprised how dead it was yesterday at Disneyland... I've been there where they've closed the park because of capacity limits and it's wall-to-wall people... No fun at all... But yesterday, we were able to take 5 rides (Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones, Pirates, Tom Sawyer Riverboat, and Locomotive train) within 2 hours; got in the park at 10am and stayed until 1pm-ish (late lunch)... The longest wait was seriously 10 minutes...

In any event, it was nice to have the park relatively empty... Hehehe...

Go when it rains. its a real treat. The park is empty, they bring out a lot of characters to the shops and most of the rides are open since a lot are indoors.

No way! Extra Magic Hours are always packed. I try to avoid them whenever I can. If you want shots with no one in them there are a few options:

Wait till closing time and "linger" with your camera and tripod, shooting long exposures. What little crowd remains is usually headed out so they won't show up in the frame.

During the day you can use a very "heavy" ND filter (10 stops will get you about a minute or two, I like twelve stops )

Creative framing. There are plenty of areas that can be shot without having people in the frame most of the time.

Timing a patience. Sometimes just waiting for a clear moment.

Photoshop. When all else fails.

Same on Friday, the 4th! I Was really surprised and the cast members were saying the didn't even get to level 2 till after 2pm. I thought it was going to be absolutely packed and it wasn't. There was no wait at Haunted Mansion, Pirates was no more than 15 min, Indiana Jones was about 40 min max. Even Radiator Springs Racers was no more than 45 minutes later in the day.

Finally made it to Tokyo Disney Sea! Another Disney class act ...

Early morning reservations before the park opens is also a great way to do it.

I think because every Annual Passport except for Premium was blocked out the entire long weekend.

^ I'm sure that had some % to it... Hehehe... I'll take it, though...
