Please note that 6ave is not an authorized dealer. They are an unauthorized dealer, and the listing clearly indicates that this may be an import body. Import bodies are physically identical, the only difference is a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed; the store provides a one-year store warranty. We haven’t heard any recent reader complaints about this retailer, they have a 99.2% positive feedback rating. You also get the usual eBay, PayPal, and credit card buyer protection.

Should I go for it?

No USA warranty should be a no go.

What if I don't live in USA. Also, I never had a problem with my T2i or any of my lenses. I see myself caring about warranties and then a year or two later the warranty period is over before I know it.

I guess 6ave's only downside is that they don't have USA warranty.
I'm also looking at their 24-105 lens. about 2000 dollars for 6d and lens.

I have saved hundreds buying 'grey market' gear. Never had a problem. I cannot speak about the seller you are referencing, but if after due diligence the store appears legit, why not? If they are backing the camera for a year and they are legit, go for it.

Thank you for your sincere comment, that gives me some confidence. I will be purchasing both camera and lens.

Enjoy your new gear!

My 'grey market' gear is a 5DII and 17mm ts-e that have performed flawlessly, as they should, for well over a year now. Any warranty that I would have paid extra money for is now long gone.

24L and 50 1.4 probably get the most use since I do a bunch of concert photography. Have a handful of other lenses too though.

Also might want to consider Canon Refurbished...
1 year warranty as New Canon lens/body. If it's in stock.

Avoid 6ave. They always bait and switch on customer.
