Great work, but I would cut back on skin smoothing. Its starting to look a little plastic. ;)

:)

I was trying to copy Rick's lighting in his photo above my post. In the picture below I used a grid instead of a partially closed umbrella as rim for more contrast. This time I got the reflector (below the doll) in the catch lights also.

Thanks. I got yelled at by the train security. He said that using a strobe near a train is like pointing a laser pointer at a plane. My flashes were not pointed at the train. They were diffused and at the lowest power. He kinda had a Napoleon complex. He couldn't explain the federal statute for the "federal violations" for trains. I deescalated the hot head. I took a couple of pics and left.

Nice. So did you use a flash to light the telephone booth?

Yeah it's a three light setup. At a slow shutter speed to get the motion blur as well as to incorporate the ambient light into the capture.

-Main light--Godox AD-360 in a medium softbox camera right at 1/128 power.
-Rim light--bare 580ex2 behind phone booth toward model at 1/64 power.
-Phonebooth--Yongnuo flash inside phone booth facing up ward at 1/128 power.

Triggered with yn622tx-c and yn-622c as receivers.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III
Sigma 35mm Art
ƒ/1.4
35.0 mm
shutter 1/5
ISO 250
Flash On, fired
