Just got back from a two weeks dream trip in South America including Peru, Ecuador, and The Galapagos...

These are the first three animal photos I've gone through. Sorry for Facebook quality. All shot with 5D2 and 24-70 MkI

I swam with the sea lions. There were only like 4 penguins the entire trip because it's not penguin season...

I got vacation time to burn ..

We took a private tour through Peru and Ecuador, in the Galapagos we were on a 16 person yacht called the Galapagos Grand Odyssey.

Everything was booked through a travel agency called Audley.

Terrific shots. Amazing to think there is a place where a 24-70mm is a "wildlife" lens. This place is on my bucket list, too.
