Two questions:
1. Anybody compared to 17 TSE or Zeiss 21 in terms of corner to corner sharpness?
2. This lens is plastic....what do you think about durability and build quality? Will it survive arctic weather?

I'd also be interested in seeing more comparisons with the Zeiss 21. I'm seriously thinking of picking up this lens for an upcoming trip to Greece. The zoom and IS should come in very handy and give me more flexibility than just having the Zeiss with me.

Bought a B+W Nano Clear filter for this lens tonight, then went into Washington DC to try and catch some Golden Hour light.

Finally posting some pics.

I have had the lens since the first week it shipped. I am loving it. Took it on my trip to the Baja and got a few.

I am using the lightroom preset for lens adjustment for the 16-35 2.8 but it seems to work anyone else doing this?

I also tried the 16-35 2.8 profile. It does SOMETHING. Takes away vignetting and corrects some distortion. I don't know if it's the correct amount of correction though. Probably not.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

There is a lens profile for the 16-35 f/4L included in RC of ACR 8.6 - just download it and copy the profile to the Lightroom Lens Profile folder. It works much better than the 2.8L profile. :)

OK, I downloaded it... and double-clicked to install... just don't see where it went or where there are lens profiles even listed (or a folder in which they are to go).

I'm using CC 2014 on a Mac. Any help would be appreciated....

Thanks. It looks like it is now in there. But, still does not show in the pulldown menu in LR.
